Region Asia welcomes four new member schools!

 

National University of Civil Engineering (NUCE)

By applying CDIO in our programs, we hope to achieve the following goals:

  • Graduating students are more likely to satisfy their employers, and NUCE will be able to reach out to even more partners in the industry while reaffirming our reputation to existing ones.
  • Students are engaged in the program and start to develop their interests in the career, thus improving their overall performance as well as satisfaction.
  • Faculty competence will continuously be enhanced in both professional proficiency, as well as in teaching, learning and assessment methods.
  • CDIO programs will be able to achieve international accreditation, with the first target being the requirements of ASEAN University Network – Quality Assurance (AUN-QA).

 

Rajamangala University of Technology Isan (RMUTI)

  • We’d like to achieve our goals for creating appropriate learning outcomes to serve the determination of university to create highly skilled and knowledgeable workers for jobs in technological fields by implementing Mapping – Enhancing CDIO Skills Set. An industrial survey on graduate attributes and following by a Steep Trends Analysis.
  • Our curriculum will be improved and reached a good quality.
  • RMUTI students are motivated to learn both inside and outside classrooms.
  • The graduates are well-prepared and ready for their real-life workplaces with tacit or specific knowledge in their fields of study, explicit knowledge, personal skills, interpersonal skills, ethics and attitudes.

 

Thiagarajar College of Engineering (TCE)

Goals in a span of 4 years:

  • Curriculum for all UG programmes as per CDIO framework
  • Improvement in self assessment score in all 12 standards of CDIO
  • Improvement in core placement in globally recognized industries
  • More successful Entrepreneurs.
  • Improvement in domain specific Higher studies in Top 100 world ranking institutions
  • More real time products for societal needs
  • Adapting suitable best practices from CDIO member institutions

 

University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC)

What goals do you hope to achieve?
We hope that our engineering education reform will make greater progress with added support of the CDIO. From this, we hope that our students will be capable in multiple areas and be well rounded. This begins with their school work and academia but also extends to their social life and extra curriculars. 
Additionally, we also hope all aspects of our SAA faculty can make all-round progress not only in their working methods but also in their daily life.
